the solid rock.

when all around my soul gives way
He then is all my hope and stay

on Christ the solid rock I stand
all other ground is sinking sand.

our blog, at times, makes our lives look pretty and together, generally happy and upbeat. but there are days when my heart is heavy, days when I go to bed at night and as soon as my head hits the pillow my thoughts start running. these past few weeks, I have spent a lot of time thinking and praying for the Spiro and Calderone families. families who have lost much, in the earthly sense, yet in spite of their losses are grieving with hope, knowing that the loved ones they have lost are rejoicing before their Savior.

life is messy. hard things happen. trials come. and sadness falls.

in those times, we have truth to cling to that sustains us and keeps us.

when the cares of my heart are many, your consolations cheer my soul. psalm 94:19

the Lord is near the broken-hearted and saves the crushed in spirit. psalm 34:18

this past Sunday, our pastor, preached an excellent message asking us what we our building our lives on (if you have 30 minutes, give it a listen), the timing could not be more perfect to consider that very question. but what joy there is in knowing that the precious saints who have gone before us were secure in their answer through the wonderful testimony of a life well-lived.

Now I would' ve reach-me-down ChickHen to flash custom firmware to his psp but he updated to 5.55. So I was wondering if the Half Byte Loader program would be skilful to hasten the 5.50 D3 installer at all, since I noticed the program is beta and seemingly as many problems red, wish plenty to shake firmware without bricking his psp.
