In Memory of Bobby, who has changed our lives forever.
You call me out upon the waters
You call me out upon the waters
The great unknown where feet may fail
And there I find You in the mystery
In oceans deep
My faith will stand
And I will call upon Your name
And keep my eyes above the waves
When oceans rise
My soul will rest in Your embrace
For I am Yours and You are mine
Your grace abounds in deepest waters
Your sovereign hand
Will be my guide
Where feet may fail and fear surrounds me
You've never failed and You won't start now
So I will call upon Your name
And keep my eyes above the waves
When oceans rise
My soul will rest in Your embrace
For I am Yours and You are mine
Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders
Let me walk upon the waters
Wherever You would call me
Take me deeper than my feet could ever wander
And my faith will be made stronger
In the presence of my Savior
-Hillsong, Oceans
We picked this song to be sung at Bobby's burial and it only seemed fitting to share his life in pictures with the lyrics because of the truth it has pointed us towards in the midst of our suffering.
Romans 5:1-5 Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.

You probably don't remember me, but we met at Caleb and Kristen's wedding.
I leaned about Bobby's little life through Kristen, and I just wanted to tell you, that I'm praying for you. I was pregnant at the same time, and often when I look at my newborn boy Jade, Bobby comes to mind and I pray for you, your husband and children! Thank you for sharing your story, Bobby's story.
I pray for the Lord to fill your heart and mind with peace, to give you the words to say, and to sweeten your memories. <3
