My Favorite Time of Day

You know as a 4 year old kid how you would watch the clock for the minute that your birthday party would start and all your friends would come? Or in middle school sitting in class watching the clock for the bell to ring? Or in high school you counted the days for your graduation day to come? Well I count the minutes, almost every day of the week waiting for my love to come home to me. Even knowing that he is miles from home its a comfort, just to know he is coming. Nothing is better than the sight of his big black truck pulling up the street, sometimes if I stand and watch I am overcome with joy at seeing my lovey that I take off running out into the street (often sans shoes) just so I can great my boy and throw my arms around him and give him a huge hug and kisses.

Being such a hard working boy he often smells of paint, clear coat, and in these past summer months is covered with sweat, but I love every minute of our sweet "hello." Some days its early and other days its late, where I will often call him multiple times on his drive home just to tell him that I love him and miss him so.

As sweet as our reunion is and as it fills me with such joy, the greater joy we can know is in our Father, that some day, we will be reunited with Him in heaven. What an amazing place we have to long for where there will be no more pain, no more sadness, no more suffering, no more fear, and no more death. I want to long for heaven like the Davis' do and learn from their example.

The Day Loveys became Loveys

Was the day that Seth Charles Remsnyder asked me to be his wife! It still feels like just yesterday we were getting on the Cape May Ferry and I was wondering if August 19th would be "the day." It has only gotten better and he truly has made me one of the happiest girls in the world!

Love, I love to stand beside you as your wife. I love to care for you and make our home special for you. Your thoughtful care and unending love have blessed me so much.

Whirlwind

Yes, that has been our weekend.

We started off here. (this was a surprise for my love thanks to DC's restaurant week)

And ended up here. (this was also a surprise for my love thanks to some great encouragement from Jenni and Jenn)

Then it was off to here for lunch with Neumann and some new friends from AZ.

And we finished off our Saturday night here. And it was awesome.

Phew.

This month we celebrate:

7 Months of Marriage

1 Year since our Engagement

and the joining of these two lives:

The New Mr. and Mrs. James Thomas Winn!

We are incredibly blessed to call them friends and our rejoicing for them has only grown as we are so excited for all that God has for them in their married life together. Their wedding day was such a neat time to reflect on God's faithfulness in bringing them together and it was so special to see how he has prepared them for each other. We also had the privelage of standing beside them as they joined their lives together. Having my hubby as my escort was so much fun too!

Hopefully there will be more pictures in coming posts. Our internet at home is super slow (when it decides to function) and uploading a single picture takes 5 min.

As a sidenote, I loved taking pictures at their wedding. I am not thinking I have a future career here, but it was a lot of fun and I was pretty happy with the end product. And it made me more grateful for my sweet boy who blessed me with a new camera (he knows how much I love taking pictures).
